French blue and pretties,Amanda's wedding at Bumbles Cafe in Budds Beach

I am still doing catch up blogs for several of my 2010 weddings so it may be a little while until I am up to date. Mainly because I had the opportunity to work on some really pretty weddings last year and thought it would be a real shame not to share them with you.
This wedding was at Bumbles Cafe with the ceremony at a nearby private residence. The large white iron gates at the front were simply gorgeous. They gave the whole ceremony a very french ambience.
I dont know why but this gate always reminds me of the french movie"Amelie". I simply love these old fashioned gates.
Amanda was a really creative & charming Bride. She chose her wedding colours in a french /tiffany blue. What often makes a wedding special is all the small details. Amanda was one of the most creative brides I have ever had the pleasure of working with. With a little touch of inspiration from Martha Stewart all of the  table decorations were her idea.I truly thought that people can not buy good taste, she has got it naturally.

Amanda and her mother hugged each other just afther the ceremony

You will love her table runner. She decorated it with some photos with her new husband along with some older treasured photos of their parent's wedding .The soft white lissianthus garland was lovely.

Table plan in white vintage frame.

This honey coloured room light creates an intimate and homely space in Bumbles Cafe....
Hanging fresh flowers, you can do this with artificial flowers but I think the fresh flowers make a huge difference with their fragrance, texture and delicate look.. so much better...

This is the library room at Bumbles and hanging gypsophia ball afther the ceremony.I always like to use the ceremony flowers somewhere in reception room.Amanda decorated the guest tables with hundreds of vintage black and white photos. Some were photos from their holiday, some of them were thier parents and grand parent's weddings. One day in the future,my son may put my wedding photos on his wedding reception. These old photos make me nostalgic, such a great idea!
Weddings are always full of love between family and friends....

Simple beauty, Camilla's wedding in April 2010

I think this photo captures a moment full of happiness at starting a new life.

The beautiful bride Camilla is a very well known Ballet dancer .
From our first consultation she knew exactly what type of bouquet she wanted to be holding on her wedding day.
Camilla chose a tiny tear drop arrangement of crystals, semi-opened white roses and white baby roses.
She was also quite specific that the roses be semi-opened rather than fully open.
I love tiny tear drop shaped bouquets I think they make the bride look so feminine and delicate.
Semi-opened roses impressed me as a modest and simple look .

A few months later I was fortunate to meet up with her again at her nieces naming ceremony.
These photos are of the sweet little girls with pink flowers.

This winter naming ceremony was filled with pink cherry blossoms, baby roses, peach & pink stocks, sweet peas and blush pink singapore orchids hanging in strands from the branches of a beautiful tree all swaying in the gentle breeze.
Cute little people dancing under the tree with crowns of flowers in their hair.
A simply gorgeous moment which everybody present I am certain will cherish as a special lifelong memory

Georgia's wedding at Eco Fellini wedding date April 2010

This was a wedding I did last April but I would love to introduce everybody to this lovely couple.
The venue was Ecostudio Fellini in Mudgeeraba. The website is http://www.fellini.com.au/
First I met her at Bumbles Cafe http://www.bumblescafe.com/  with her mother.
It was really lovely to go through all the wedding consulting  process with both of them.

Georgia was a very elegant, calm and sensitive bride on the day.
Everythings went smoothly and bridesmaid look so nice with watermelon/ red dress.
Eco studio has huge open spaces and I was amazed by the friendly attitude of the couple who own and manage the resort.
They are such lovely people. I especially love the italian style tables.
They look amazing in the photos! I am sure you would love this location too.

This venue is like a blank canvas for any bride, so much you can do to create your own special event !

Truly beautiful Bride

This is a photo of wedding I did some years ago.
The wedding venue was Peppers on the Witsunday coast.
It was an enormous challenge for me to organise 7 large boxes of fresh flowers to be transported by airplane, bus and boat to reach the beautiful island resort!

I still cannot forget how elegant she looked on the day.
The bride was such a naturally beautiful lady inside and out and I had a wonderful experience throughout this wedding .
All the styling was by The Style Salon in Sydney and Rouba the creative director was a simply gorgeous person and I have so much respect for her qualilty of work and sensational ideas.
The website of The Style Salon is below,
